mountainous road only accessible via 4x4- Sani Top Chalet is home to the highest
pub in Africa, 2874 meters above sea level. The breathtakingly beautiful views
of the surrounding landscape, the drive up the pass and the unique atmosphere of
the chalet makes this a truly unforgettable experience. Visitors will delight in
the unique alpine flora around the Sani Top Chalet and appreciate the warmth of
the smiling people of the Mountain Kingdom.
After an interesting drive up the pass, the chalet offers excellent meals, which are available to day trippers as well as chalet guests. One can spend the afternoon snowboarding or visiting the highest peak in Southern Africa, Thabana-Ntlenyana, 3482 meters. Sani Top Chalet offers two types of accommodation, with rooms inside the main building as well as a dormitory style backpackers. All rooms are comfortable made up with extra bedding for the cold winter nights
