The architectually designed cottages at Castleburn were thatched and built
with hand-hewn local stone, to stand inconspicuous against their natural milieu.
They are either studio 4-sleepers, 1 bedroom 4-sleepers, 3 bedroom 6-sleepers or
2 bedroom 6-sleepers.
Each cottage has a comfortable lounge, dining room, bathroom, fully equipped
kitchen and braai area on the patio.
There are heating systems in the bedroom and bathrooms and a stone fireplace
for extra comfort and atmosphere. Some units even have a jacuzzi. Facilities
also include a telephone, television with MNet, Movie Magic, BBC Prime and
SuperSport 1.
Linen and towels are provided and there is a daily cleaning and laundry
service. Babysitting, cots, wood and charcoal are available.
The dramatic outcrops and crevices of the area are best appreciated from
horseback.
