The
Drakensberg Mountains have been recently declared a World Heritage Site
for their unique natural and cultural significance. The Ukahlamba Drakensberg
Park is a hiker's paradise, the air and rivers are clean, and the atmosphere
is one of peace and quiet. Come here to try the trout-fishing, or take a
tour up the famous Sani
Pass. The Southern
Drakensberg and Sani Pass are home to a number of
special birds, some of which you may catch sight of visiting our garden
seed trays and bird baths. Bentwood Inn is a 2 hour trip from Durban, and
a 6 hour trip from Gauteng, all on tar roads.

This is a larger Brentwood Inn cottage with an upstairs bedroom and a queen-size bed.
Downstairs there is a lounge with sleeper couch, bathroom and a small kitchen
complete with microwave and fridge. Relax on the patio with table and chairs
overlooking the gardens.

This is a pretty, but smaller Brentwood Inn cottage which also has a queen-size bed. There
is a shower and toilet and small kitchenette with fridge. This cottage has a
small patio with table and chairs.
All the cottages have wall-mounted panel heaters.The property is fenced and
gated with secure parking. Dinner can be served - please make arrangements
timeously.
Crested Barbet Cottage Bed & Breakfast
This Brentwood Inn cottage has twin beds and a shower/toilet. A fridge and tea/coffee
making facilities are provided. Private table and chairs are yours in the
garden.

San
Rock Art by going on a guided tour and discover the lost world of
the Bushmen who once roamed these mountains. Underberg is situated in
the heart of a legendary trout-fishing area. This can be organised for
dam or river. Three golf courses in the area make this an excellent golfing
destination with unparallelled natural scenery. Guests enjoy mountain
biking the country roads, and in summer, the river provides endless tubing
and canoeing fun. Underberg is also a centre for varied agricultural shows,
polo matches, fairs and other sporting events and welcomes visitors. Tennis,
squash and bowls are all available in close proximity. Of course, chief
draw card of the district are the trips up the Sani Pass, with some of
the most spectacular views in South
Africa. From the top of the twisting gravel pass, look out over the
whole province of Kwa
Zulu-Natal, before you duck in to the highest pub in Africa.
