The cozy bedroom is serviced by a beautiful bathroom with spa-bath, shower, tolilet and basin, set around one of the encased trees that grow through the cabin. The open-plan lounge and fully-equipped kitchen move out onto a deck with one of the best views in the Drakensberg. It has a large main bedroom with bath, toilet and basin en-suite. The mezzanine floor has four single beds and is serviced by a second bathroom downstairs consisting of a shower, toilet and basin.A lounge / dining room area leads onto a fully equipped kitchenette which has a stove, fridge, deep freeze and microwave and a nook in the garden has a built braai for outdoor cooking. There is a HiFi in the unit but no TV. The cottage is reasonably close to the main house so security is excellent but has been tastefully screened for perfect privacy in its own garden area. Sleeps 6 in 1 double en suite and 4 singles on the mezzanine. Uphall CottageUphall self-catering cottage is very private and set in a huge garden with a wonderful view of the Cathkin and Champagne Castle peaks of the Drakensberg. The main cottage has 1 double bedroom en-suite, a fully equipped kitchenette and a lounge/dining room.The second, smaller cottage has a double bed and 2 children's beds with a bathroom. The fireplace in the main cottage completes the image making this a true basic, country cottage with prices at the lower end of the scale. No TV is available. Gibbs CottageGibbs Cottage is set on a hill overlooking Bell Park Dam with the Cathkin/Champagne Castle Peaks of the Drakensberg as a backdrop. The view is breathtaking and with the cottage having a large deck for relaxing and braais, one gets the full benefit of this beautiful area.The cottage itself has a double room downstairs with a toilet/basin en-suite and another room upstairs also with a double bed and two divan beds which are suitable for children or teenagers. An extra sleeper couch is available downstairs. A bathroom with shower/basin/toilet services the bedrooms downstairs. A large living area has a sitting room with fireplace and dining room and a fully equipped kitchenette leads off from there. The kitchenette has a two-plate cooker, a microwave as well as a mini kitchen with another two plates and an oven. There is no TV in this cottage. Turn left onto R600 (opposite Engen garage) and follow directions as from * above. |
