Description

Brett offers two options for those seeking to experience the awesome beauty of the Drakensberg up close and personal - the first flight is a 15 to 20 minute Scenic Flight (depending on wind conditions) along the face of the Champagne/Cathkin escarpment. The second flight, known as the Champagne Stop Over follows the same route but involves a landing on top of the 'low' berg near to the base of the escarpment at around 7000ft. As one would expect a glass of champagne or juice is included.

DIRECTIONS FROM DURBAN Travel on the N3 passing Pietermaritzburg, Mooi River and Estcourt After Shell Ultra City turn left on the R74 to Winterton. Go through the town and turn left on the R600 (Central Berg). Travel on this road for 28kms and turn right thru the green walled entrance for 1km. Alternate route – daytime only Take the second Estcourt turnoff – Estcourt North/179 glide off. Keep left on the Loskop road for 30kms. Turn left onto the R600 for 15kms and turn right thru the green walled entrance for 1km. DIRECTIONS FROM NEWCASTLE Travel through Ladysmith and get onto the old Durban road for approx 2kms Turn right on the Bergville road for 8kms Turn left on the R600 to Winterton. At the T Junction turn left into Winterton Once in the town, take the first turn right (R600) for 28kms and turn right through the green walled entrance for 1km DIRECTIONS FROM BLOEMFONTEIN Travel towards Harrismith and approx 5KMS before the town turn right onto the R712 to Bergville / Phuthadijhaba Then left onto the R74 to Bergville Travel through Bergville to Winterton Once in Winterton take the first turn right (R600) for 28Kms and turn right through the green walled entrance for 1Km
